Flexibility

MedLink® means flexibility.  Using alphanumeric pagers, phone calls and detailed messages are processed without spending time searching for someone to answer the call.  With the group page feature, the system is able to automatically page assigned team members to respond to emergency call such as a “Code Blue”.  Calls to maintenance, dietary, and housekeeping can also be sent directly to assigned pagers. 


For years our slogan has been “we get the nurse to the patient faster than anyone” and we will continue to strive to provide technology to make that mission a reality. Our new ProNet.net™ Windows® software will document that "better than anyone" as well.

medlink_cat.gifThe MedLink® 3000® nurse call System is a multi-user, multi-tasking hospital communication system designed to improve staff productivity by eliminating unnecessary tasks from caregiver workload.


The MedLink® 3000® System is designed to work in almost any nursing environment. Most nurse call systems require a nurse to enter the patient room to find out what is needed. The MedLink® 3000® categorizes the patient request and directs it to the staff member assigned. By integrating radio pagers, wireless communication systems that not only give the room number, but also display the patient request, the responding caregiver prepares for the request before entering the room. The entire event, from receipt of call through delivery of service is recorded in a data base for use by management in evaluating the responsiveness to patient needs, assisting in planning and staffing and for risk management purposes. The integrated data tracking and reporting software expand the capabilities of hospital administrators to evaluate the level of patient care, staff productivity and the location of assets. These options provide for an improved level of patient care. With the capability of being operated as a centralized or distributed call answer system, the MedLink® 3000® provides a great deal of flexibility to meet the needs of any nursing environment. The integrated data tracking and reporting software expand the capabilities of hospital administrators to evaluate the level of patient care and staff productivity as well.

After many years of outstanding service the MedLink 3000 system is being replaced with our New ProNet.net product.
